LIENZ, Austria: Italian Federica Brignone upset favourites Mikaela Shiffrin and Viktoria Rebensburg to gain the women’s big slalom Earth Cup race at Lienz on Friday.

Rebensburg led following the first run with Shiffrin 2nd even though Brignone was fourth but the 27-calendar year-outdated overhauled equally on the 2nd leg to gain by .04 seconds from Rebensburg and assert the sixth Earth Cup gain of her profession.
