TIANJIN: Huo Shuqing’s spouse and children has been producing traditional woodprint New Calendar year paintings for 7 generations.
The system of creating these paintings include things like drawing, carving woodcut styles, producing ink rubbings from the styles, colouring and eventually mounting.
Mr Huo specialises in introducing color to the rubbings and he has been undertaking it for twenty five many years. He maintains that colouring is the toughest element of the system.
